Job description

Salary: $55,000+ salary DOQ

TheTalent Acquisition Recruiterrole is responsible for full time talent acquisition efforts for the Northwestern Mutual Minneapolis and Edina Offices. The task of sourcing and attracting quality full-time talent for this organization is the primary role and will be continuously improved by this individual. Success in this role will require the utilization of ones natural market, development of trusting internal office relationships with team members and Advisors, utilization of social media outlets, and development of professional referral relationships amongst community connectors to create firm brand awareness, source candidate names, and promote the Financial Advisor role. This role will need a natural, or experienced, sales personality to call, schedule, and nurture relationships with the candidates.

Job Duties:

  • Assist with full-time recruiting efforts for the Minneapolis and Edina Offices to the expectations of leadership team and maintain measurable data to support recruiting results.
  • Generate weekly referrals and lead sources through internal office referrals, social media, and community connections.
  • Communicate directly, and frequently, with Front Line Leaders, the Director of Talent Acquisition, and the overall talent acquisition team on recruiting plans and strategies.
  • Develop and execute on new recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
  • Call candidate leads to schedule interviews and facilitate our selection process.
  • Interview and choreograph the attraction of top candidates within the selection process.
  • Review and interpret assessments taken by candidates during the interview process.
  • Assist in a variety of recruiting office initiatives and special marketing projects as needed throughout the year.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to commute to the Minneapolis and Edina Offices
  • Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales or full-cycle recruiting experience required
  • Experience with web-based searches, sourcing and scheduling based software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication, and public speaking.
  • Strong amount of drive, desire, and ambition-- highly motivated.
  • Ability to work independently with proper direction.
  • Develops rapport easily.
  • Creative, energetic, and positive
  • Strong organizational, time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
