We are seeking a motivated assistant who possesses the drive to succeed in a busy hospital and has an interest in working in an educational environment. The Internal Medical Service attends to a wide variety of cases and manages complex long-term disease processes. Assistants in this service will assist their team in all medical and endoscopic procedures associated with maintaining and stabilizing their patients.
As a Veterinary Assistant, you will:
  • Calmly and gently approach and handle our patients according to safety protocols and our core values
  • Identify abnormal pathology
  • Understand our hospital estimates and can clearly present and explain them to our clients
  • Have patience and empathy to address client concerns
  • Educate clients in the areas of Internal Medicine and can provide exceptional care for our patients
  • Prepare medications and our patients/clients for discharge with concise directions for our clients
  • Support your Internal Medicine team in all aspects of care for your patients
