We're looking for an experienced and strategic Talent Acquisition Sr. Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted talent advisor to business leaders while providing functional leadership across the recruiting team. You'll lead complex searches, influence workforce planning discussions, and partner closely with senior leaders to develop talent strategies that support both current and future business needs. You'll also play a key role in mentoring fellow recruiters, elevating recruiting capabilities, identifying opportunities to improve effectiveness, and developing scalable programs and processes that strengthen the overall impact of the Talent Acquisition function.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned recruiter with experience leading recruiting programs, developing innovative sourcing strategies, and successfully recruiting talent from professional through senior leadership levels. This individual thrives in a consultative environment, leverages market intelligence and data to influence decisions, and is passionate about creating exceptional candidate and hiring leader experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for a diverse portfolio of professional, leadership, and senior leadership roles across the organization.
  • Develop and execute proactive recruiting and sourcing strategies that attract high-quality and diverse talent.
  • Partner with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and key stakeholders to understand workforce needs and develop talent acquisition strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor by providing insights on market trends, talent availability, competitive intelligence, and hiring best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and future-focused roles.
  • Assess candidate qualifications, capabilities, and organizational fit to identify top talent for current and future opportunities.
  • Leverage data, metrics, and external market insights to influence hiring decisions and improve recruiting outcomes.
  • Lead or support recruiting programs and initiatives designed to improve hiring effectiveness, candidate experience, employer brand, and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to recruiting team members while contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices and partner with leaders to attract diverse talent.
  • Represent Securian Financial in the marketplace and help strengthen our employer brand through networking, sourcing, and talent engagement activities.

What You'll Bring

  • Significant experience leading full-cycle recruitment for leadership and senior-level positions, including advanced sourcing expertise and the ability to identify and engage top talent through multiple channels.
  • Proven success developing and leading recruiting and sourcing strategies across a variety of complex talent segments.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders to develop workforce and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through the use of talent market intelligence, recruiting data, and external perspectives.

The estimated base pay range for this job is:

$73,700.00 - $136,800.00
