Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week. Hybrid schedule requiring two days onsite per week. Flexible schedule available.

Addison Group is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization to hire a temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist. Our client is seeking an experienced recruiting professional to support their Human Resources team during a temporary leave coverage period. This role will assist with full-cycle recruiting efforts and help deliver a positive candidate experience across the organization.

Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist on behalf of our client for a 4-6 week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting full-cycle recruitment, managing multiple open positions, and working within an applicant tracking system. This position is a great opportunity for a recruiting professional who enjoys collaborating with hiring teams, improving processes, and supporting mission-focused organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and candidate communications
  • Assist recruiters with reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, collecting feedback, and updating candidates throughout the process
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment workflows within the applicant tracking system
  • Manage multiple open positions simultaneously while providing timely updates to hiring teams and candidates
  • Assist with onboarding activities and recruitment-related administrative tasks
  • Support HR leadership with special projects related to recruiting processes, reporting, and workflow improvements
  • Help ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required
  • 4+ years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition, including at least 2 years supporting full-cycle recruitment
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems such as SmartRecruiters, Greenhouse, BambooHR, Taleo, or similar platforms required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Experience supporting onboarding processes preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
