A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Seattle office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in handling sophisticated civil and commercial litigation for businesses across a broad range of industries.

Ideal Background

3–6 years of civil litigation or commercial litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience handling complex civil disputes, including breach of contract, business torts, professional liability, construction disputes, insurance matters, fiduciary duty claims, and other business litigation

• Experience managing all phases of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, written discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, hearings, mediation, arbitration, trial preparation, and appeals

• Experience representing businesses, financial institutions, insurers, manufacturers, healthcare organizations, or other corporate clients

• Experience litigating matters in state and federal courts

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated litigation matters while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Washington bar admission required or ability to become admitted
