Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator
Reports to: Talent Acquisition Operations Manager
Division: Human Resources
Location: Dublin, OH; Hybrid; In office (T - Th); Relocation not offered
PURPOSE

With over 340 communities across 25 states, we are the nation's largest not-for-profit provider of affordable senior housing and the leading employer of service coordinators. In addition to residential senior communities, we offer home and community-based services and permanent supportive housing for formerly homeless and disabled individuals.

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is a vital part of the Talent Acquisition Team, with responsibility for providing support to the recruiting team and candidates to ensure a smooth pre-boarding and new hire onboarding experience. This position will be responsible for facilitating the recruitment process by providing administrative and logistical support to the recruiting team including scheduling initial phone screenings, coordinating on-site interviews, and assisting with the candidate process through to onboarding.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Coordinates pre-boarding paperwork for new hires including offer letters, tax forms, direct deposit, I9 documentation and all necessary paperwork for onboarding
  • Conducts background/social media/ motor vehicle/credit and additional checks through third party vendor for all new hires
  • Schedules drug screening and physicals as needed
  • Coordinates all pre-boarding activities for Recruiters to ensure a seamless transition from candidate to new hire
  • Partners with internal recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates
  • Prepares and updates job descriptions for external postings aligned to the hiring managers and business needs
  • Partners with Sr. Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Talent Acquisition Partner, Hiring Managers and/or support staff to ensure all new hire paperwork is completed and accurate
  • Participates in recruiting events, such as career fairs, preparing information packets, and gathering information from suitable candidates
  • Successfully creates and executes sourcing strategies in partnership with our hiring leaders
  • Creates and maintains meaningful reports that drive talent acquisition decisions
  • Conducts phone interviews for Recruiters as needed
  • Act as backup for New Hire Orientation as needed

EXPECTATIONS
  • Demonstrates and maintains a positive, professional manner, manages time efficiently and effectively, provides leadership as a role model to promote a team approach, collaborates and participates in policy creation and appropriate problem-solving methods.
  • Must adhere to all policies, procedures, terms and conditions set forth in the National Church Residences' Employee Information Guide (EIG), the Code of Conduct, as well as any facility handbook, including but not limited to, corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state, local regulations and laws.
  • With respect to Resident Rights, ensures all care is provided with respect and dignity for the residents/clients, their families and the staff. Reports all complaints made by residents/clients and/or families to the appropriate supervisors, reports all allegations of abuse, misappropriation of funds/resident property and/or any other corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state and local regulations and laws.
  • Completes all annual education requirements timely, including but not limited to Compliance, Privacy, Security and HIPAA training and exhibits behavior as set forth by the Code of Conduct in the performance of their duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATION SHEET-Recruiting Coordinator
Education: High School diploma or GED required. Associate's degree preferred.
Experience: Recruiting or Human Resources experience preferred.
Skills: Must have excellent communication and customer
service skills. Experience with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel required.
