Command and Control Information Systems & Simulations Trainer

The Opportunity:

Are you a trainer who is passionate about developing differentiated instruction and delivering it in exciting ways? You know that learning styles vary, and you thrive in helping Soldiers grasp new information. Bring your passion for developing and delivering training to our team. As a multi-purpose trainer on our team, you'll provide training on the Virtual Battle Space (VBS) gaming simulation, and various Command and Control Information Systems (C2IS) to U.S. Army Soldiers who will be attending Primary Military Education (PME) courses. You'll continuously grow skills and expertise, becoming a flexible multi-system training asset in support of the mission partner. You'll create, develop, and deliver doctrinally correct, rigorous training scenarios that will challenge the Soldiers to increase readiness and meet the Mission Partner's training requirements. You'll also collaborate with experts in other departments to develop expertise and shape the capabilities you offer. Preparation for and delivery of training could include loading and unloading equipment, set-up, configuration, networking, troubleshooting, and training product and scenario development. You'll move items to different locations, including computer towers, monitors and switches.

You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Soldier in the U.S. Army, the U.S. Army Reserve, or the U.S. Army National Guard
  • Experience developing and delivering training
  • Knowledge of Virtual Battle Space, Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Mounted Mission Command (MMC), Joint Battle Command Platform (JBCP), or Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2)
  • Ability to execute computer networking and IP configurations and operate Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience providing C2IS and Simulations training
  • Experience operating Virtual Battle Space, Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Mounted Mission Command (MMC), Joint Battle Command Platform (JBCP) or Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2)
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Completion of U.S. Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), U.S. Army Small Group Instructor Course, U.S. Army Common Faculty Development - Instructor Course (CFD-IC), U.S. Army Drill Instructor Academy, or Association for Talent and Development (ATD) Master Trainer Certification
  • Network+ or Security+ Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
