About Us:
Advantage Early Learning Academy is a growing network of childcare centers dedicated to creating safe, nurturing, and inspiring environments where children thrive. Position Overview:
We’re seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and complete facility maintenance, safety, and repairs across multiple daycare locations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and takes pride in keeping environments safe, clean, and welcoming for children, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and perform routine maintenance, repairs, and improvements at all centers (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, etc.).

  • Conduct regular safety and compliance inspections in accordance with state childcare licensing standards.

  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and inspectors for larger repair or renovation projects.

  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and records for equipment, vehicles, and facilities.

  • Ensure playgrounds, classrooms, and outdoor areas meet health and safety requirements.

  • Manage maintenance supply inventory and stay within budget.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.

  • Lead with professionalism, prioritizing safety and minimal disruption to children’s daily routines.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of maintenance or facilities management experience (childcare, school, or similar environment preferred).

  • Working knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC).

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel between centers required).

  • Must pass background check and meet all childcare licensing requirements.
