Location: Springfield, OH
Schedule: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Overtime: Fridays as needed (6:00 AM - 12:00 PM or up to 2:00 PM)
Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
Job Summary
We are seeking a Production Supervisor for a manufacturing facility in Springfield, Ohio. This role is responsible for supervising production and/or material handling staff and may involve both manufacturing and warehouse operations. The Production Supervisor will lead teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive department workflow to ensure quality results and on‑time delivery
  • Supervise assigned employees, including:
    • Work assignments
    • Team motivation and engagement
    • Hiring, training, cross‑training, performance reviews, and terminations
  • Lead process improvement and change initiatives
  • Maintain accurate Pulse and Hour‑to‑Hour boards, ensuring follow‑up on misses and resolution of issues
  • Communicate effectively with employees, peers, managers, and support groups
  • Promote and enforce workplace safety, including training, investigations, corrective actions, and safe work practices
  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as:
    • 5S
    • Kaizen events
    • Lean projects focused on waste elimination
  • Perform other duties as assigned
