Summit Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a fully remote setting. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity for experienced clinicians to provide crucial mental health services while enjoying the flexibility of working from home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of their clients through high-quality, client-centered care.

About the Organization

Summit Healthcare Group is a leading provider of telehealth services committed to improving mental wellness across diverse populations. This role allows clinicians to operate in a completely remote environment, ensuring a work-life balance that accommodates personal needs while maintaining a professional approach to mental health services. As part of our telehealth facility, you will utilize a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform for conducting virtual counseling sessions. We provide all necessary support, including IT infrastructure and electronic health records (EHR) systems, to facilitate your work and focus on what truly matters—your clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional counseling services to clients through virtual platforms, delivering empathetic and tailored therapy approaches.
  • Utilize our cloud-based EHR system for accurate record keeping, treatment planning, and ensuring compliance with various insurance providers, including Medicaid and Medicare.
  • Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions, helping clients identify their struggles and develop effective strategies for coping and healing.
  • Implement treatment programs designed for clients facing mental health challenges, trauma, or dual diagnoses, ensuring their safety and confidentiality throughout the therapeutic process.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary teams to enhance care continuity and improve client outcomes.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all care activities and client interactions as per organizational policies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes individuals experiencing a broad range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting these individuals through their unique challenges, aiding them in achieving better mental health and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health counseling.
  • Proficient in conducting Telehealth sessions, requiring a reliable laptop or desktop, as well as access to high-speed internet and a web camera.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively.
  • Completion of a background check is mandatory.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including some weekends and evenings is preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in delivering telehealth services and familiarity with teletherapy modalities.
  • Specialization in treatment for specific disorders or demographic groups (e.g. children, families, trauma survivors) is a plus.
  • A proven track record of effective treatment outcomes and client engagement.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with education, experience, and specialization.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental coverage, and life insurance.
  • 401(k) matching to support your retirement plans.
  • Health savings accounts to help manage your healthcare expenses.
  • Paid time off to promote work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for professional development assistance to enhance your skills and career trajectory.
  • Flexible scheduling options that allow you to choose your own hours, suiting your lifestyle.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Summit Healthcare Group, we prioritize the professional growth of our clinicians. As part of our team, you will have access to continuous training programs and workshops that equip you with the latest tools and methodologies in mental health care.
