About the Organization

At Summit Healthcare Group, we pride ourselves on our commitment to client-centered care and professional integrity. Located in Aurora, Illinois, we have established ourselves as a trusted provider of mental health services, focusing on empowering individuals, families, and communities to achieve their therapeutic goals. Our culture fosters growth, innovation, and respect, allowing our clinical staff to thrive while delivering exceptional care.

The work environment is entirely remote, utilizing advanced telehealth technology to conduct virtual counseling sessions. Our team is equipped with a cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) system to ensure compliance and streamline documentation processes. Practitioners can enjoy a flexible work schedule, with the ability to set hours that best suit their lifestyle, including some evening and weekend availability to accommodate diverse client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality mental health counseling and therapeutic support to a diverse client population using evidence-based practices.
  • Utilize our HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform to conduct secure online sessions, ensuring client confidentiality and trust.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records, adhering to compliance regulations for insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare.
  • Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions to assess client needs, set treatment goals, and strategize effective interventions.
  • Implement customized treatment programs to manage symptoms related to mental health, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, engaging in regular supervision and consultation to improve service delivery and client outcomes.
  • Focus on continuous professional development and leverage opportunities for training and guidance to enhance therapeutic skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass working with a wide variety of clients facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Clients range from children to adults, requiring your expertise to provide empathetic support and tailored therapeutic interventions. As a member of the Summit Healthcare Group, you will play a crucial part in fostering resilience and empowering clients to overcome their struggles.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.
  • A minimum of three years of direct mental health counseling experience is required.
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health records; familiarity with our systems will be provided.
  • Possess a reliable laptop or desktop computer equipped with high-speed internet and video conferencing capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote setting.
  • Pass a comprehensive background check prior to employment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing telehealth services and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and techniques.
  • Proven track record of successful clinical outcomes and positive feedback from clients.
Compensation and Benefits

At Summit Healthcare Group, we value our employees and offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience. Additional benefits include:

  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage including medical, dental, and vision.
  • Retirement plan with 401(k) matching to support your future.
  • Health savings account to assist with healthcare expenses.
  • Life insurance for your peace of mind.
  • Generous paid time off, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
  • Investment in your professional growth through development programs and resources.
