Job description

About Grupo Data
Data Group is a multinational IT consultancy operating in Brazil, Portugal, Spain, the US, and Canada, organized across four practices: Asset Management, Artificial Intelligence, Talent, and Cybersecurity. We are an official member of the Anthropic Claude Partner Network and the company behind Data Omnis, a SaaS data catalog and AI context layer. We are opening our US operation in San Francisco and are looking for the leader who will build it.

Location and work model
Hybrid, based in San Francisco, CA. Regular travel within the US and occasional trips to São Paulo and Lisbon.

The role
The Country Manager owns the US business end to end: strategy, revenue, team, partnerships, and P&L. You will be our first senior hire in the country and will operate as a founder inside a company that already has scale, references, and delivery capacity abroad. You report directly to the Co-CEOs.

What you will do
Define and execute the US go-to-market plan, choosing the practices and offers to lead with (AI consulting and Claude enablement, Data Omnis, talent allocation, cybersecurity, ITSM). Open and close the first US accounts personally, then build the sales and delivery team around them. Develop the Anthropic partnership on the ground in San Francisco and build relationships with the local AI and cloud ecosystem. Set up the local entity's operating routines with the global back office: hiring, contracts, compliance, pricing, and reporting. Own the US P&L, with quarterly targets on pipeline, revenue, and margin. Represent Grupo Data at events, with clients, and with partners.

Who we are looking for
Ten or more years in B2B technology services or SaaS, with at least five leading a business unit, region, or country with revenue responsibility. Proven track record selling consulting or AI and data solutions to mid-market and enterprise accounts in the US. Comfortable being hands-on: prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing while the team is still small. Experience building teams from scratch and working with a global headquarters across time zones. Strong network in the Bay Area technology ecosystem is a plus. Portuguese or Spanish is a plus, not a requirement. Authorization to work in the US.

How success is measured
US revenue and gross margin against quarterly targets; number of active accounts and logo quality; pipeline generated and conversion; team hired and retained; strength of the Anthropic and partner relationships.

Compensation
Competitive base salary plus a variable component tied to US results, with equity or long-term incentive to be discussed. Full US benefits package.
