Title IA Summer School Coordinator (at Line Elementary School)

Job Description: RSU 57 is seeking a positive, energetic and qualified individual to join our Summer School Staff.ย Summer school programming will support students with established MTSS Tier 2 or Tier 3 plans in math and reading. The Summer School Coordinator will serve as a lead instructor and liaison between multiple programs and stakeholders, including curricular oversight, transportation, nutrition services and facilities. This position is an excellent opportunity for a teacher aspiring to step into a leadership role to gain valuable leadership experience.

The successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Possess the ability to work with staff in a collaborative, professional manner.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to details.
  • Ensure all necessary preparations are completed prior to the beginning of the summer school session.
  • Serve as the contact person for staff and families during the summer session.

Qualifications: We are seeking an individual who has a minimum of 5 years teaching experience and proven leadership skills.

Compensation: Stipend - $3,500

Time Expectations: Mid May - June 27, 2026: Planning and preparation as needed

Days: 18+ย 

Hours:ย 

  • Student session runs: 8:15 a.m. - 11:35 a.m.
  • Instructional staff hours: 7:45 a.m. -12:15 p.m.ย 

Coordinator will be onsite when staff is present. Additional hours to be worked as needed before summer school begins and after it concludes.
