Job description

  • Interfacing with company executives, program managers, engineers, and infrastructure
    managers in accounting, property, security, shipping/receiving, information technology, facilities, and contracting
  • Prepares, negotiates, manages, and closes out subcontracts and consulting agreements, as assigned
  • Assisting in developing and reporting metrics for subcontract actions and customer service
  • Participating in continuous improvement program, recommending process changes and techniques and assisting in implementation
  • Supporting teamwork, customer service, positive interpersonal relationship techniques, and alignment with company mission, values, and goals
  • Conducting subcontract negotiation and administration of routine subcontracts
  • Analyzing estimates of service, material, equipment and production costs
  • Reviewing performance requirements ensuring contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications and government regulations
  • Issuing contract and financial program documents
  • Structuring contractual terms to company business strategy
  • Initiating internal documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications
  • Monitoring company performance on contractual obligations
  • Originating all company correspondence of contractual significance

  • Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of Subcontract Management experience.  Experience in contract law and/or government contracting is a plus

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Experience working in and building collaborative, multi-functional teams
  • FAR/DFARS knowledge and flowdown applicability
  • Subcontract Clause negotiation experience
  • Experience with /Exposure to determining fair and reasonable pricing, proposal support, Sole Source Justifications, Statements of Work
