What is it like to work as Supply Chain?
What does this role look like?
Subcontract Program Manager supporting the EWC programs within Commercial Civil Space Line of Business. Supply Chain lead in the fast-paced, strategic environment, responsible for delivering significant Enterprise value by driving commonality, efficiency, and affordability.
In this role you will have the following daily key responsibilities:
• Acts as the main focal point of a subset of EWC existing and new program supply chain activities.
• Lead Supply Chain new business pursuits, to include shaping Request For Proposals (RFPs) to subcontractors, understanding strategic initiatives to have a strong position to win, and working with the Supply Chain Management team through negotiations supporting their Basis of Estimate
• Manage the Cost, Schedule, and Technical aspects of multiple suppliers
• Collaborate and communicate long term strategies to develop and implement initiatives that drive streamlining and commonization of subcontracted hardware and processes
• Identify and coordinate alternate sources and technology insertion to significantly improve innovation and competition
• Track and coordinate Earned Value Management metrics via Performance Based Payments (PBPs) to all stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 6+ years of professional experience between Supply Chain, Leadership, and Contracting.
• Experience directing and managing costs, quality, schedule, financial, and technical performance requirements on a project, program, or subcontractor managing overall system objectives, milestones, or deliverables.
• Experience developing and executing to tactical and/or strategic plans.
• Professional experience leading teams overseeing projects, programs, or subcontracted systems.
• Professional experience directing one or more of the life cycle phases of the project, program, or subcontract.
• Experience with supplier/subcontract selection, contracting, negotiation, award, execution and/or close-out.
• Prior professional experience establishing milestone objectives and managing performance to committed schedule, contractual specifications, or mission requirements.
• Professional Experience with Defense or Government customer or procurement officers.
Desired skills
To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
• Master's degree, from an accredited college, or equivalentexperience/combined education.
• 8+ years of professional experience
• Prior demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing cross functional team of subcontract administration, engineering, quality, and finance.
• Expertise in acquisition policies and procedures associated with FAR / DFAR / ITAR requirements.
• Development of supply chain proposal, negotiations and contracting strategies.
• Specialization in subcontracting requirements/competencies skills such as Cyber Security, FAR, or Negotiation, etc.
• Ability to develop solutions to complex time sensitive problems in a dynamic environment
• Well organized, excellent communicator and team builder
• Demonstrated performance for continuous improvement.
• Able to work closely with suppliers and subordinates and can work with all levels of management and present data proficiently to executive leadership.
• Computer skills to develop presentations, synthesizing complex data and messaging effectively and efficiently.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm/urgency to work each day.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
