THE WORK
As a Subcontract Program Manager (SPM), you'll lead the management of subcontractor relationships and critical systems, overseeing various contract types within the F-35 Training domain. Your responsibilities will include directing subcontractor performance, developing strategic plans, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Subcontract Management Teams: Oversee subcontracts and critical subcontracted systems across various contract types
2. Direct and Manage Performance: Ensure adherence to all aspects of cost, quality, schedule, financial, and technical requirements outlined in subcontractor agreements or prime contracts.
3. Develop Strategic Plans: Formulate sourcing and subcontract program management strategies aligned with program capture needs and execution objectives.
4. Subcontractor Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between subcontractors and the program management office, fostering clear communication and efficient issue resolution.
5. Subcontract Management: Supervise all stages of the subcontract process, from making business cases for make/buy decisions, proposals, negotiating agreements, and overseeing program execution.
