Salary: See Position Description Location : Riverton Job Type: Student Job Number: SP24-001 Department: Student Affairs Opening Date: 12/20/2023 Description JOB SUMMARY: Student employment is offered in a variety of departments and programs throughout the college and at each of the outreach centers. Students are employed in a variety of entry-level capacities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Responsibilities, Duties and Tasks):
  • Perform a variety of manual and non-manual entry level work as directed by the student supervisor.
  • Operate within the guidelines set forth in the College's policies, procedures and practices.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as directed or assigned.
Typical Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Student employment eligibility is contingent upon enrollment at CWC in a minimum of 12 credits each semester for full-time students and 6 credits for part-time students. Course loads will be periodically checked. For summer employment, students must have completed a minimum of six credit hours in the preceding spring semester, and be enrolled in at least 1 credit in the summer session or have been accepted and enrolled in at least six credit hours in the upcoming fall semester. Supplemental Information Experience: None required. Equivalency Statement: Equivalent combinations of education, experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Licenses/Certifications: None required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Varies depending on position assigned.
  • Ability to arrive to work on-time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
  • Ability to follow directions.
LEVEL OF SUPERVISION: Work is performed under the direct supervision of a student supervisor. Student Employees can work a maximum of 19 hours per week while classes are in session. This position is not eligible for benefits.
