Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will join a vibrant and inclusive educational community and demonstrate the ability and desire to work with a diverse student population. This is a part-time student employment position and does not include benefits.

This role provides front desk support for the Student Development Office, along with administrative assistance and support for Essential Student Resources (ESR) initiatives. The Student Development Assistant will gain hands-on experience in student support services and social service resource coordination.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Front Desk & Administrative Support

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and guests; ability to engage professionally and warmly in fast-paced environment

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Perform general office and administrative duties, including answering and routing phone calls and assisting with scheduling inquiries and appointment confirmations

Student Support, Outreach & Program Coordination
Distribute essential resources (e.g., hygiene and period products, meals, and snacks)

ย ย Develop flyers and outreach materials (e.g., Canva) and maintain resource lists
ย ย Support data collection efforts to assess program effectiveness

Independent Project

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Complete an independent project aligned with student worker's interests that supports the Student Development Office and benefits the student community
