Serves all customers and guests of the university, uses basic commercial kitchen equipment and is responsible for basic assembly and preparation of hot and/or cold food items. Maintains prescribed standards in personal appearance, hygiene, safety and sanitation. Upholds a high level of professionalism and attention to friendly, accurate and prompt service; is expected to smile, greet and make eye contact at every customer interaction; ultimately responsible for providing an extraordinary dining and/or event experience. Required to successfully complete department allergen training, knife skills training, and food safety training within first 30 days of employment Assists with general cleaning and other duties as assigned.
Additional Information:
Location is Table of Contents at the Newark Campus. Federal Work Study Eligible jobs can be filled by a non-FWS student.
The starting rate for this position is $13.00.
