The Service Strategy Analyst is responsible for developing make/model specific service strategy plans. These plans can take the form of organizational level service strategy plans and implementation guides or site-specific master contract reduction plans. Service strategy plans and implementation guides for targeted medical equipment will be developed via collaboration with a cross-functional team. The Service Strategy Analyst responsibilities include taking a lead role in coordinating development activities of each functional area and consolidating their work products into service strategy plans and implementation guides. The Analyst will be responsible for partnering with cross-functional area team members in gathering and analyzing historical financial, operational, and technical data on medical devices. The Analyst will integrate this data into a service strategy implementation guide to drive service strategy standardization and expense reductions across all device locations. Master contract reduction plans will be developed via the collection and analysis of financial, technical, and operational data. The Service Strategy Analyst will seek input from cross-functional experts as needed to gather data for the analysis process. The Analyst will integrate this data into site specific master contract reduction plans and performance metrics to drive service strategy standardization and expense reductions. The Service Strategy Analyst must have the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams; motivating others and providing guidance to accomplish team goals without having direct authority over team members. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex information into a customer friendly format. The role requires a self-motivated individual focused on accomplishing goals without constant supervision.
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana; candidates must currently reside in the central Indiana region within a 70 mile radius. Our CO - Central (Corporate) Office - is located on the northwest side of Indianapolis. This position is Hybrid (a mix of remote & in-office).

Responsibilities
Strategy Implementation Guide Project Management (25%)
  • Provide project guidance to a cross-functional team focused on device level service strategy analysis and implementation guides for medical equipment.
  • Effectively create and manage the timeline for each service strategy analysis and subsequent strategy implementation guide. (data collection and analysis, strategy determination, ROI model development, strategy guide development, strategy implementation, compliance reporting, performance metrics)
  • Monitor functional area progress on assigned tasks against project timeline. Coordinate with team on additional resources to meet deadlines. Adjust individual deliverable dates as needed while maintaining integrity of the overall project schedule.
  • Track functional area progress when the development of new processes, products, services, or relationships is required to support the optimum service strategy.

Contract Reduction Planning (25%)
  • Develop master contract reduction via the collection and analysis of financial, technical, and operational data.
  • Seek input from cross-functional experts as needed to gather data for the analysis process.
  • Drive added value for service, training, and technical support by developing tools and processes that help in the planning of insourcing efforts.
  • Responsible for performing initial review of contract requests and modifications.
  • Provide support to managers regarding contract cancellations and roll-downs.

Data Analysis (25%)
  • Partner with cross-functional team members on data analysis related to operations, costs, training, service statistics, procurement, and service contracts.
  • Accountable for the clinical engineering services deliverables in support of service strategy analysis work.
  • Conduct spend analysis on equipment make/models and modalities to identify targets and priorities for device level service strategy analysis.

Reports (15%)
  • Integrate functional area work products into device level service strategy implementation guides.
  • Maintain data on site/device level implementation status and compliance with service strategies.
  • Prepare reports showing effectiveness of strategies and programs.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to educate and train on internal contract reduction processes, tools, efforts, and accomplishments.

Program Development and Implementation (10%)
  • Based on data analysis results; partner with functional areas when the development of new processes, products, services, or relationships is required to support the optimum service strategy.
  • Support integration of service strategy analysis process and work products into automated systems and tools.
  • Partner with Strategic Business Directors on dissemination of service strategy guides and implementation processes.

All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in project management, business operations, or complex data analysis is required.
  • Project management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an acute attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of clinical engineering, medical technology, and/or healthcare support services preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; advanced skills with Excel and Access preferred
  • Creative thinker with the ability to prioritize work and manage time amidst multiple tasks
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate in cross-functional teams
  • Business acumen and the knowledge to understand operations

Education and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
