Vice President of Finance

Location: South Bend, IN (100% Onsite)

Salary: $160,000-$175,000

Our client is seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance to provide strategic financial leadership and oversee the organization's accounting and finance functions. This executive role partners closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance, improve operational efficiency, and support longโ€‘term business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and treasury.
  • Oversee monthโ€‘end close, financial statement preparation, and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis to executive leadership, including KPI reporting, profitability analysis, and business planning.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team while driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, capital planning, banking relationships, and annual audits.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including executive leadership.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and strategic planning.
  • Experience leading accounting teams in a manufacturing, distribution, or multiโ€‘entity environment preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence executive decisionโ€‘making through financial analysis and business insights.
  • Advanced ERP and Excel skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
