The Strategy Analyst will serve as an internal consultant, providing analysis and strategic recommendations across the business, with a focus on finance. This individual will play a pivotal role in improving execution and accelerating Libra's growth trajectory. They will be hands-on leveraging in our data assets while working closely with leadership to empower data informed business decisions. This position will focus on developing and executing incentive plans across the organization, driving the right behaviors that lead to enterprise-wide success.

This is a hybrid position based out of one of our office locations in Denver, CO, Charlotte, NC or Las Vegas, NV,

The analytics team at Libra:

Our mission is to act as consultants and leaders for the organization by identifying strategic opportunities, analyzing available possibilities, and delivering efficient solutions. Success is measured by our ability to produce results that do at least one of the following: 1) Add additional revenue, 2) Improve operational efficiency, or 3) Create actionable visibility.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with finance leadership to develop financial models including revenue and collections forecasting
  • Lead the production of quarterly internal financial reporting
  • Execute key reporting that provides visibility and actionable insights into operational trends & provides visibility into performance for employees
  • Provide ad-hoc analytics and query support to internal teams
  • Effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Thoughtfully provide recommendations and creative alternatives to drive business growth

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in an analytics role or Master's degree achievement preferred
  • Excellent analytical, statistical modeling, problem solving, and conceptual thinking abilities
  • Experience and comfort with Python, SQL and Excel
  • Comfortable handling sometimes ambiguously defined problems, developing creative solutions and delivering meaningful results
  • Analytically curious with the ability to proactively recognize insights and opportunities beyond the original project scope
  • Capable of managing multiple project timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Efficient communication of statistical findings and explanations to non-analytics roles
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or Engineering
  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting
  • Experience working with loan data
  • Experience with PowerBI, SAS, Python, or R will also be valued
