Job description

TRG Manufacturing Search Division is engaged in a search for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join a global leader in commercial equipment manufacturing. This newly created position will support enterprise-wide commodity management initiatives while serving as a key connection between North American operations and the Global Commodities organization based in Europe.



This highly visible role will lead strategic sourcing projects supporting global commodity programs, supplier consolidation efforts, cost-reduction initiatives, and sourcing process improvements. The successful candidate will partner across multiple business units to develop category strategies, analyze spend and market trends, negotiate supplier agreements, mitigate supply chain risks, and implement initiatives that create value across the enterprise.



This is an outstanding opportunity for a sourcing professional seeking broad organizational impact and international exposure. Ideal candidates will bring experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, supplier negotiations, and large-scale ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.), coupled with strong analytical capabilities and business acumen. A bachelor's degree and three or more years of relevant sourcing, purchasing, or commodity management experience are preferred.



Background:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred and 3+ years of sourcing, purchasing, or commodity management experience.
  • Proven track record negotiating with suppliers and driving cost savings.
  • Experience supporting commodity strategies or large-scale sourcing initiatives.
