We are excited to bring on a Strategic Planning Consultant to join the CX and Digital enablement team. In this role, you will help shape the future of CX and Digital Enablement team by supporting key strategic initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and exceptional customer outcomes. You will consult/analyze and deliver on more complex assignments/projects for assigned area(s). You will leverage data, insights, and strategic thinking to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, and influence decisions that create lasting value for customers, advisors, and the business.

What you'll be doing
  • Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive growth, profitability, and long-term success across Retirement Plan Solutions
  • Leverage data, market intelligence, and business insights to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and emerging needs that inform strategic decision-making and future business direction
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to translate business priorities into actionable plans, aligning initiatives across distribution, service, technology, operations, and other key functions
  • Conduct research, analysis, and business assessments to evaluate opportunities, develop recommendations, and build compelling business cases that support investment and strategic planning decisions
  • Help shape multi-year business plans and growth strategies, connecting strategic objectives to executable initiatives, measurable outcomes, and business priorities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define success measures, establish key performance indicators, and monitor progress against strategic goals
  • Drive continuous improvement and organizational effectiveness by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve quality, and enhance business performance through data-driven insights
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor, providing thought partnership, analytical expertise, and recommendations that help leaders navigate complex business challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities 
What we’re looking for

Must-have experience (Required): 

  • 3 - 5+ Years business analytics and/or project management experience in financial services that directly align with the responsibilities
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
  • Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions/presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as ability to communicate knowledgeable and credibly with senior management and internal constituents
  • Strong project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to design and develop solutions aligned to strategic plans

Nice-to have Experience (Preferred):   

  • Workplace Solutions product and services knowledge
  • Familiarity with client, broker, and employee-facing portal capabilities
  • Working knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and emerging trends, with an ability to identify opportunities to enhance customer experience, personalize interactions, automate processes, and improve business outcomes

The pay range for this position is $72,900 - $131,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
