Job description

In this hybrid role based at our Chicago Headquarters, you will drive key growth strategy for Priority Partner Segment(s) built on scaled partnerships and differentiated member ecosystems. This candidate owns the end-to-end strategy, execution, and P&L performance of the segment, while balancing innovation, risk, and scalability. Builds and scales a segment-focused ecosystem through strategic partnerships, agile experimentation, and close collaboration with product, digital, marketing, analytics, risk, and compliance teams. Defines success metrics from validation through profitability, and communicates results to senior leadership.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Own the overall strategy, roadmap, and performance of the assigned priority partner segment(s), with accountability for growth, engagement, and long-term financial outcomes.
  • Develop a clear business thesis aligned to Alliant's growth strategy and core financial products. Operate with ownership, balance innovation, risk, and scalability.
  • Lead the development of a segment focused ecosystem by establishing innovative partnerships across adjacent verticals of high relevancy to that segment (e.g., retail, health / wellness). Design and scale a branded platform that brings together these participants to help reach and support the target segment.
  • Lead member and partner intelligence gathering, including direct engagement, concept testing, and rapid validation of ideas.
  • Champion an agile, test-and-learn operating model focused on rapid development, experimentation, and iteration to validate demand before scaling.
  • Partner with product, digital, and marketing teams to design, test, and launch offerings tailored to the partner segment.
  • Leverage modern tools including website development, digital and partner marketing optimization, influencer or platform partnerships, and emerging AI or agent-based capabilities to accelerate learning and growth.
  • Lead and influence virtual, cross-functional teams spanning product, marketing, analytics, operations, risk, compliance, and external partners. Work independently while establishing clear priorities, decision rights, and execution rhythms to maintain momentum at venture speed.
  • Own P&L performance for the partner segment, with a clear path from experimentation to scale and profitability.
  • Define success metrics that evolve with program maturity from validation and engagement to revenue contribution and lifetime value. Use data and analytics to drive decisions and communicate progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or Related - Minimum
  • Graduate Degree in Business, Finance or Related - Preferred
  • 10 years experience in general management, strategy, product, partnerships, or growth roles, with increasing scope and accountability, people management or related

Compensation & Benefits:
Typical hiring range: $149,700.00 to $256,700.00 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
