Job description

Workers Comp/Employee Health Case Manager

Location: Medical Center Office Building (901 7th Ave)

Department: Occupational Health

Shift: First Shift (United States of America)

Standard Weekly Hours: 40

Summary: The Workers Comp/Employee Health Case Manager primary role is to facilitate appropriate and timely health care with the focus on safe employee return-to-work and the return to maximum functionality. The Employee Health Case Manager-RN conducts investigations for reported injury/illness cases. This is accomplished by providing the communication, coordination and education required to optimize outcomes across the continuum of health, disability, workers compensation, and disease management.

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

On-Call rotation Education:

  • 5 years' RN experience required.
  • 5 years' adult experience preferred.
  • Occupational Health or Case Management experience preferred.
  • Workers Compensation experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Certification/Licensure:

  • Current Texas RN license.
  • COHN Preferred.
  • Basis Life Support (BLS) certification for Health Care Providers required within 30 days of employment and must be maintained per Medical Center Policy.
