The Strategic Accounts Manager is responsible for accelerating growth within Ansell's largest North American Industrial accounts by developing customer-centric strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening long-term partnerships. This role works closely with customer decision-makers, channel partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver value-driven solutions, enhance the customer experience, and expand Ansell's market presence. Through a strong understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and business performance, the Strategic Accounts Manager drives strategic initiatives, leads business reviews, and ensures successful execution of plans that achieve revenue, profitability, and customer retention objectives.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 US Dollars per year. Specific salary for this role may vary within this range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Candidate may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.

 What your role will be?

  • Manage and grow strategic customer accounts by developing and executing account plans that drive revenue, market share, and profitability.
  • Build strong relationships with customer executives, channel partners, and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and deliver business results.
  • Lead strategic initiatives, monitor account performance, and ensure successful execution of growth plans.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and customer programs to support long-term business objectives.
  • Utilize data, sales management systems, and business insights to inform decision-making and maximize sales performance.
  • Apply consultative, solution-based selling techniques to strengthen customer partnerships, increase retention, and achieve sales targets.
  • Demonstrate strong relationship-building, strategic planning, and influencing skills to align stakeholders and achieve common goals.

What will you bring to Ansell?

Education & Job Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or relevant educational field. MBA encouraged.
  • 7 years of sales, business development, or account management experience within the Industrial market.
     

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, account management, and business development strategies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience utilizing sales management systems, data analytics tools, and AI-enabled technologies to support business decisions.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, solve customer challenges, and drive business results.
  • Experience working with strategic customers and influencing stakeholders across complex organizations.
  • Knowledge of Automotive and Aerospace industries is highly preferred.
