JOB DESCRIPTION
CLASS TITLE: Strategic Accounts Manager, West: Denver, LA and Dallas
LOCATION: Remote
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CLASS: The Strategic Accounts Manager, West is a field-based position responsible for developing and executing sales strategy, delivering successful sales growth rates, and supporting installations for the company in the Strategic Accounts segment. The Strategic Accounts Manager, West works closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing teams to communicate key initiatives while maximizing relationships with the Strategic Account Customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Develops and implements sales plans to achieve company goals in strategic account segments while delivering a unique and superior customer experience
  • Identities target customers and crafts sales plan to grow the business with them
  • Engages key customer executive management to understand needs, recommending solutions
  • Works across boundaries to market to these customers and provide support to them
  • Establishes relationships in customer organizations, assists in training
  • Provides input to Marketing and Support to ensure our offerings incorporate the needs of the DSO segment
  • Documents opportunity management in Salesforce, enabling sales forecasting and real time view of success programs
  • Represents the company at important industry events that are focused on DSOs
  • Works with appropriate dealer sales personnel who are also focused on the DSO segment
  • Conducts timely management reviews on progress in attacking this segment

RELATED DUTIES:
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Training and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience
  • 5 years Dental sales experience ideally with DSOs
  • Experience in dental imaging (hardware and software) and dental chairs and units
  • In lieu of above-mentioned qualifications and experience, 10 years of product management in dental or medical equipment/device industry experience may be considered
  • Preferred familiarity/relationships with current U.S. DSO customers and related DSO channel personnel
