Hours: Saturday and Sunday with 1 day during the week 7a-7p (1 vacancy)

Pay rate: $20.50 per hour
Responsibilities
Transport sterile instrument sets, case carts, implants, and surgical supplies between Central Sterile Processing, Operating Rooms and procedural areas.
Ensure sterile items are handled and transported in accordance with hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and sterile integrity requirements.
Deliver case carts and required surgical instrumentation to the Operating Room prior to scheduled procedures.
Retrieve unused instrumentation and case carts from procedural areas and return them to the Store Room.
Assist Operating Room and Sterile Processing staff in locating and retrieving required instrumentation from OR cores.
Coordinate with CSP staff to ensure timely movement of sterilized instrumentation back to procedural areas.
Communicate delays, missing items, or logistical issues promptly to CSP leadership and OR staff.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
High school Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Previous work experience in an Operating Room or Sterile Supply environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push carts up to 100 pounds.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Sound problem-solving skills.
Ability to take direction and follow institutional guidelines and procedures.
Ability to be flexible to meet schedule needs and handle frequent unpredictable changes.
Ability to safely transport equipment and Instruments throughout the hospital.
