Job Summary: The Locker Room Assistant Manager supports the daily operations of our member and tram locker facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment and exceptional guest service that reflects the high standards of Palisades Tahoe. This role works closely with the Locker Room Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, assist with staff supervision, and help maintain smooth, efficient locker room services for all members and guests.

You'll assist with scheduling, training, and guest relations while helping ensure cleanliness, organization, and service standards are consistently met.

Applicants must be 18 years of age.


Hourly:

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Base hourly pay range: $24.00- $28.69 per hour

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

Guest Experience & Operations

  • Provide outstanding, friendly, and proactive guest service.

  • Assist with daily locker room operations including cleanliness checks, supply restocking, and locker access management.

  • Support issue resolution and communicate guest needs or concerns to the Locker Room Manager.

  • Share resort information with guests, including weather updates, events, and amenities.

Staff Support & Team Oversight

  • Assist the Locker Room Manager with supervising, training, and coaching a small seasonal team.

  • Help create staff schedules and ensure daily coverage needs are met.

  • Serve as the point of contact for staff questions and operational updates in the manager's absence.

  • Encourage a positive and professional team culture.

Operational Coordination

  • Work with other resort departments to maintain consistent service standards.

  • Help ensure locker room procedures are followed for cleanliness, safety, and guest interaction.

  • Support seasonal locker renewals, product setup, and sales processes.

Administrative Support

  • Assist with daily labor tracking and payroll reporting.

  • Monitor locker inventory and update guest records in resort systems.

  • Help process guest sales, renewals, and product changes accurately.

Community Engagement

  • Build relationships with members and guests to foster a welcoming environment.

  • Support locker-related member events and programs.

  • Maintain accurate contact lists and assist with guest communications.

Competencies and Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in hospitality, guest services, or resort operations.

  • Supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and resort POS/CRM systems (RTP preferred).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing 80% or more of a normal 8-hour work shift. Must be capable of occasionally carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling up to 50lbs. Must be capable of occasionally squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and balancing, able to climb ladders and shovel snow. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions:

Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee will frequently be exposed to extreme cold, wetness and/or humidity, and occasionally blizzards and extreme storm conditions.

Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate.

Equipment Used in Job: Snow blower, shovels, tuning equipment, outdoor furniture, BBQ's, general office equipment.

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • 3-5 years of experience in guest services, resort operations, or hospitality leadership.

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of resort software systems (e.g. RTP) and service recovery tools.

A Motor Vehicle Record review may be required as part of your job.
