Store Room Assistant
Location: Boone, North Carolina | Full-Time | Monday - Friday

Compensation: Starting pay begins at $18.15 per hour, with competitive rates based on experience and education.

What You'll Do as a Store Room Assistant
  • Receive, store, and distribute medical and non-medical supplies in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, deliveries, and usage.
  • Ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment to designated departments and facilities.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality; report discrepancies or damages promptly.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized storeroom environment.
  • Operate material handling equipment and vehicles safely and in compliance with policy.

Qualifications
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history (no alcohol- or drug-related convictions).

Experience:
  • Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain operations preferred, but not required.

Licenses/Certifications:
  • None required.

Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with colleagues and vendors.
  • Capable of performing tasks requiring physical exertion, including lifting and moving heavy items.
