Responsibilities

SUMMARY

The Store Room Supervisor oversees daily stockroom and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient material flow, and adherence to safety and productivity standards. This role provides leadership, guidance, and support to Store Room Attendants while working closely with site leadership to meet operational goals.

Must reside in the Vancouver, WA area and be able to commute to assigned storeroom locations

This role requires regular travel. Candidates must have access to their own reliable, legally registered, insured, safe vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and support Store Room Attendants and daily stockroom activities
  • Coordinate receiving, storage, picking, kitting, and shipment of materials
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation
  • Monitor material flow and maintain proper stock levels and location accuracy
  • Train team members on processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures
  • Enforce productivity, accuracy, and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and operational issues
  • Support scheduling, workload balancing, and workflow optimization
  • Operate material handling equipment as needed (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, order pickers)
  • Maintain clean, organized, and compliant stockroom and warehouse spaces

SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to, promote, and ensure compliance with Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health regulations and KGPCo safety programs
  • Lead and participate in jobsite safety meetings and hazard analysis
  • Encourage a safetyfirst culture and intervene when unsafe behaviors or conditions are observed
Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Prior warehouse, stockroom, or distribution experience required
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable with inventory systems, RF scanners, and material tracking
  • Ability to lift 5-50 lbs regularly and over 50 lbs occasionally
  • Strong communication, organization, and problemsolving skills

  • Combination of floorbased supervision and handson warehouse work Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shift Moderate warehouse noise level
