Dough Room Requirements:
  • 18+ years of age

Dough Room Responsibilities:
Individual:
  • Hands-on food preparation.
  • Prepare dough from scratch.
  • Strong aptitude for following recipes.
  • Package dough for delivery.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes of dough onto shelving and a 50-pound bag of flour into the mixer.
  • Maintain established standards of sanitation, safety, and food preparation as set by the local and state health department; maintains an orderly, sanitary, and safe dough room.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to safely operate all dough room equipment.
  • Responsible for receiving and storing food and supplies in a safe and approved manner.
  • Strong math skills with the ability to calculate portion sizes and limit food waste are required.
  • Obtain a complete knowledge of procedures and follow them.

Other
  • Acknowledge all customers entering and exiting the store.
  • Prepare dough items while following the proper recipes to maintain a consistent product and nutritional value.
  • Work in assigned stations as directed by the person in charge: 1. Batches, 2. Cut & Ball, 3. Sheeting, 4. Stacking, 5. Dough Pulls.
  • Complete all assigned cleaning and prep work.
  • Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform any other assignments or tasks assigned by your manager or supervisor.

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to work in a standing and walking position with frequent changes between positions.
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Attendance at work is required.

  • Dough Room General Manager, Dough Room Shift Manager, or Dough Room Manager
