Job description

STEEL SHOP HELPER NEEDED

Helper needed to join a rapidly growing steel manufacturing company.ย Job responsibilities include prepping for welding various other duties related to steel manufacturing. Minimum 1 yrs experience working in a steel shop This is a permanent position offering 40 hrs per week with occasional overtime.

A qualified candidate must be able to perform the following functions:

  • Be capable of following instructions with little to no supervision and provide high quality work.
  • Examination of work pieces for defects.

A qualified candidate must be proficient with the following:

  • Measurements
  • Basic math skills
  • Reading tape measure
  • Verbal and written instructions in English

A qualified candidate must:

  • Be able to work under pressure and on a deadline
  • Follow safety guidelines
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Have personal tools typical to steel fabrication (excluding power tools)
  • Be able to pass pre-employment drug screen

Compensation:

$19-22ย per hour DOE with room for growth

Holiday pay after 90 days

Boot reimbursement annually
