IS International Services LLC (IS) is a uniquely qualified business providing engineering solutions and services to a variety of industries. We offer both engineering and project consulting services. Our team partners with our customers to provide unique solutions to cover the following: control system hardware, software design, I&C design, system documentation, startup, commissioning and long-term support. We specialize in system integration including PLC and DCS programming with expertise in many different platforms. Our process experience ranges from healthcare, general manufacturing, energy, new energy, factory automation, and process automation.

Job Description:
IS has an immediate need for a Sales Manager located in Lawrenceville, GA.

Responsibilities:
The sales manager will handle controls clients with minimal oversight. The individual must be capable of developing their own proposals. Candidates must conduct themselves professionally with their peers and with customers. The desired candidate will be capable of problem solving and troubleshooting issues related to controls projects.

Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree from a reputable engineering school in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or other related Engineering disciplines is strongly preferred. Relevant years of experience may be considered in lieu of a technical degree.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the automation industry. This experience will include site walkdowns, developing proposals/quotations for project opportunities. Potential candidates will have the qualifications below:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry customers
  • Work with our technical team to provide the most suitable solutions for project opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, able to clearly convey technical ideas and concepts to others
  • Experience must include sales of complete control system solutions
  • Sales experience including:
    • Ability to manage existing client accounts
    • Experience developing proposals autonomously
    • Ability to break into new accounts
  • Proposal development from bid documentation including:
    • Performing material take-off
    • Developing controls scope from bid documents for proposal
    • Performing cost calculations
    • Performing project risk assessment
    • Finalizing Proposal
  • Work with engineering to understand advancements in technology
  • Travel to visit prospective and existing clients
