What weโ€™re looking for in our Senior Client Manager

You are a Senior Client Manager with 7โ€“10 years of health insurance experience serving clients in a health insurance or benefits brokerage setting. You will act as the primary point of contact for key strategic clients, delivering exceptional service, leading renewals, and resolving issues. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to develop strategies and solutions that drive satisfaction and retention.
Hereโ€™s what youโ€™ll do as a Senior Client Manager:

  • Provide client services for designated clients.
  • Support the development of new products, services, capabilities that lead to improved client satisfaction and retention. Prepare all renewal submissions, complete benefit and rate comparison, and communicate strategies with the client.
  • Provide strategic direction for each client to support client objectives.
  • Stay abreast of markets, products, and competitiveness.
  • Act as liaison between the client and company in order to resolve all normal service issues regarding billing, claims, eligibility, and other client service issues.
  • Promote the companyโ€™s service standards and ensure a high existing customer retention rate.
  • Develop strong relationships with assigned clients and brokers by meeting frequently with them.
  • Serve as subject matter resource to junior team members.
  • Participate in programs to improve the quality of the work environment and to add client value.
  • Work with Operational and Company partners to develop infrastructure necessary to deliver client services.

  • Bring 7โ€“10 years of health insurance experience as an Account/Client Manager or Account Executive within a health insurer or benefits brokerage environment. Experience with international private medical insurance is highly preferred.
  • Are able to obtain and maintain an insurance license for designated lines within six months of hire.
  • Possess strong knowledge of underwriting practices (including pooling, credibility, reserving, trend analysis, and selfโ€‘funding) as well as regulatory and compliance requirements such as HIPAA and ERISA.
  • Demonstrate strong executive presence and presentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients, initiatives, and priorities in a fastโ€‘paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively, deliver strong client service, and apply sound problemโ€‘solving skills while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Work independently with selfโ€‘motivation and accountability, producing accurate, highโ€‘quality work on timeโ€”even under pressure.
  • Are highly organized, dependable, and trusted to handle sensitive information.
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and web browsers.
  • Are comfortable traveling at least 20% of the time.
