Job description

Troy's Towing proudly brings professional, friendly service to Metropolitan Detroit and surround areas.  We have a start-of-the-art fleet of trucks and our drivers are professional, polite and well trained.  Our goal is to provide fast, friendly and competitively priced services to our customers. 
We're currently looking for a full-time Accounts Receivable Representative to work in our Detroit based office.  We offer a friendly and comfortable work environment with helpful and supportive leadership and team members.
Compensation:
$18.00 an hour.
Job Overview:
As the Accounts Receivable Representative, you will play an important role insuring the timely and accurately processing of customer transactions and monitoring payments from customers.
Essential Functions:
Ensure invoices and payments from customers are made consistent with terms.
Collection of delinquent accounts and accurately credit customers accounts as payments are received.
Reconciliation of reports and logs as required daily, weekly and monthly.
Audits, collections and preparation of reports.
Respond to inquires and process customer portal transactions.
Update logs, respond to emails daily and process refunds.
Provide additional administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
Experience Expectations:
At least 1 year of A/R experience or related financial role.
Understanding of basic accounting principals and practices.
Experience with QuickBooks or similar software.
Understanding of collections or credit management is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
