The Role

We are seeking an Analyst to join our Strategic Advisory Group. The Strategic Advisory division provides services in the following major areas: Venue Advisory, Valuation, and Transaction Due Diligence. We are looking for an Analyst with experience in quantitative data research/analysis, financial modeling, and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Perform strategic analysis for sports and entertainment industry clients
  • Assist with Market Feasibility analyses on stadium and arena development projects
  • Build surveys, focus group presentations, and participate in corporate interviews
  • Build professional reports to present to clients
  • Quantitative data collection and analysis,management/operations reviews, and benchmarking
  • Research studies within the sports industry
  • Assist with other Strategic Advisory team members in business development
  • Quality control of client reports, ensuring accuracy
  • Additional consulting services as needed

Knowledge & Impact

  • Developing professional concepts and company standards
  • Resolves a variety of issues, including routine issues, by applying appropriate policies and procedures

Scope & Complexity

  • Works on problems of moderate scope complexity that require discretion in terms of data sets, conclusions, and exhibits appropriate for Client deliverables
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices
  • Provides data/situational analysis and reviews a variety of factors primarily related to commonly-used data sets and methodologies

Supervision

  • Requires limited instruction and supervision on day-to-day work
  • Receives general instruction on new assignments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Sports Management, or related experience
  • 2+ years of experience in cash flow modeling, finance, market research, valuation, and preparation of reports & presentations,or an advanced degree with equivalent work experience
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries strongly preferred: Sports, Consulting, Real Estate, Banking, Legal, or Accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Must be proficient with the following in MS Excel: complex functions/formulas, various formatting techniques, database sorting/filtering, and overall skill when assembling, analyzing, and communicating data
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Multi-tasking and the ability to problem-solve and master new concepts
  • Committed to an outstanding experience for our clients and colleagues
  • Ability to prioritize workload under time constraints and work efficiently as a supportive teammate

Location

This role is based in Denver, CO, or Nashville, TN.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $70,000 - $85,000 (Denver) or $70,000 - $80,000 (Nashville). This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
