Summary:

In this role, you will lead the strategic direction, operational performance, and continuous evolution of analytics capabilities supporting Spend Management Delivery. You will develop and lead a high-performing analytics team while partnering with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights, advance analytical capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and drive measurable client and organizational value. You will champion innovation, technology adoption, and continuous improvement to strengthen analytics services and support strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing analytics team by providing coaching, performance feedback, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.

  • Establish strategic priorities, operational goals, and performance metrics to ensure timely, accurate, and impactful analytics delivery that supports client and business objectives.

  • Oversee day-to-day analytics operations while improving scalability, quality, operational efficiency, and service delivery.

  • Guide organizational change initiatives and lead adoption of new technologies, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that enhance analytical capabilities and team effectiveness.

  • Partner with clients and cross-functional teams, including Accounts, Product Strategy, Business Intelligence, and Data & Digital, to influence analytics roadmaps and advance reporting and analytical capabilities.

  • Drive process standardization, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen data quality, reporting consistency, and operational effectiveness.

  • Monitor healthcare industry trends, emerging technologies, and analytics best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and service enhancement.

  • Oversee resource planning, workload prioritization, and team capacity across multiple analysts and client engagements to ensure successful execution of business priorities.

  • Support talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives that strengthen organizational capability and team performance.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on analytics strategy, reporting, and performance measurement while fostering collaborative relationships that deliver measurable client value.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Demonstrated experience leading analytics teams and developing high-performing talent.

  • Strong knowledge of analytics strategy, performance measurement, data governance, and operational reporting.

  • Experience leading organizational change, process improvement, and technology adoption initiatives.

  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and influence cross-functional stakeholders and client leaders.

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.

  • Experience with analytics platforms, business intelligence tools, automation, and AI-enabled technologies preferred.

  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.
