Job description

Role Summary:

The Procurement Analytics Lead drives data-driven decision-making within the procurement function by leading the analysis, interpretation, and reporting of procurement data. This role leverages advanced analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to deliver actionable insights, support process improvements, and enable effective stakeholder collaboration to achieve cost savings, compliance, and value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Data Analysis
    • Collect, clean, and analyze procurement data from multiple sources (e.g., ERP, e-sourcing platforms, supplier databases).
    • Apply AI, machine learning models and analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to inform sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations.
  • Reporting & Visualization
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for spend analysis, savings tracking, supplier performance, and compliance using the Coupa Spend Analytics module, as well as other tools such as Power BI, Qlik, and Alteryx.
    • Leverage Coupa's advanced analytics capabilities to deliver actionable insights on spend patterns, supplier consolidation opportunities, and compliance trends.
    • Present findings and AI-generated recommendations to procurement leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring insights are aligned with Chubb's strategic sourcing objectives.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in procurement operations.
    • Support automation initiatives and digital transformation projects within procurement, leveraging Alteryx, AI-powered workflow tools, and robotic process automation (RPA).
    • Partner with Procurement leadership to evaluate and deploy AI solutions for contract analysis, invoice processing, and supplier risk monitoring.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Partner with category managers, finance, IT, and business units to understand requirements and deliver tailored analytics solutions.
    • Train and support procurement team members on analytics tools and best practices.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
    • Support audit and risk management activities with relevant data and analysis.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).

Certifications:

  • Preferred: Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or equivalent.
  • Data analytics certifications (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, Alteryx, Six Sigma Green Belt) are a plus.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in procurement analytics, strategic sourcing, or supply chain analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement within a procurement environment.
  • Experience with Claude Enterprise or similar advanced AI analytics platforms is highly desirable.

Essential Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas).
  • Expertise in Power BI, Qlik, and Alteryx for data visualization and automation.
  • Experience with procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement Cloud).
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data extraction and manipulation.
  • Understanding of e-sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance management tools.
  • Experience with Claude Enterprise or comparable AI-driven analytics tools is a strong advantage.
