Job Description:

The Senior Solutions Developer -Hybrid cloud designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for solution enhancements and new solutions. Also supports customer engagements around the solutions.

Management Level Definition:

Contributions have visible technical impact on a solutions or major subcomponent. Applies in-depth professional knowledge and innovative ideas to solve complex customer problems. Visible contributions improve time-to-market, achieve cost reductions, or satisfy current and future unmet customer needs. Recognized internal authority on key technology area applying innovative principles and ideas. Provides technical leadership for significant project/program work. Leads or participates in cross-functional initiatives and contributes to mentorship and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct and ongoing technical leadership for an organization of multiple individual contributors in designing and developing new solutions and supports Partner/ presales engagements.
  • Provides technical leadership and identified as go-to-person for solutions built with HPE technology areas across server, storage, networking and software portfolio.
  • Provides domain-specific expertise and overall technical leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
  • Develops organization-wide architectures and methodologies for software systems design and development across multiple platforms and organizations within the Global Business Unit.
  • Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
  • Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced development partners, and industry standards groups.
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of software systems design and development innovation and excellence.
  • Supports customer engagements in helping POCs, Pilots etc.,

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or equivalent.
  • Typically, 8+ years of experience
  • Product/Solutions Engineering or development experience
  • Very good analytical/problem solving skills
  • Expertise in software programming,object-orientedconcepts
  • Hands-on experience - Ansible/Python, RESTful APIs
  • Experience of server/storage/network management(GPU infrastructure)
  • In-depth understanding and hands-on experience in Kubernetes
  • Troubleshooting issues in a container env(containerized app config issues and setup/config issues like network, storage access etc)
  • Working experience of developing Kubernetes operators, CRDs
  • Working experience in Nvidia software eco system - NVAIE, GPU operators, Bluefield DPUs etc
  • Good understanding of Cloud concepts, Multi-tenancy, RBAC etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to AnsibleTower
  • Work experience of cloud automation and exposure of service provider cloud/managed cloud
