This role partners directly with clients to configure, support, troubleshoot, and optimize Alpha Platform solutions that improve eligibility verification, benefits coordination, accounts receivable management, collections, and overall financial performance. Working closely with clients and internal teams, the Solution Delivery Consultant drives solution adoption, resolves complex issues, and helps organizations maximize the value of their technology investments.

Job Description Summary

The Solution Delivery Consultant serves as a trusted advisor and solution expert for Netsmart's Alpha Platform, which currently includes AlphaVerify and AlphaCollector, and supports healthcare organizations across the revenue cycle management (RCM) continuum.

This role partners directly with clients to configure, support, troubleshoot, and optimize Alpha Platform solutions that improve eligibility verification, benefits coordination, accounts receivable management, collections, and overall financial performance. Working closely with clients and internal teams, the Solution Delivery Consultant drives solution adoption, resolves complex issues, and helps organizations maximize the value of their technology investments.

The ideal candidate combines strong problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and a consultative approach, with experience supporting healthcare revenue cycle workflows such as patient access, eligibility verification, billing, accounts receivable, collections, or related operational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, test, support, and optimize AlphaVerify and AlphaCollector solutions in both pre-production and production environments.
  • Prepare and perform system build, testing, validation, and conversion activities utilizing Netsmart implementation methodologies and best practices.
  • Manage and resolve client support cases, troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate cross-functional resources to drive timely resolution.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing ongoing guidance, solution expertise, and workflow recommendations that support operational and revenue cycle goals.
  • Partner with clients to analyze current-state workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, adoption, and solution utilization.
  • Lead and participate in client meetings, status calls, solution reviews, and adoption discussions while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Monitor client health, identify risks, and communicate solution status, concerns, and recommendations to both clients and internal leadership.
  • Collaborate with implementation, project management, technical, product, and support teams to resolve complex issues and manage escalations.
  • Support client adoption efforts through knowledge sharing, best practice consulting, training reinforcement, and change management activities.
  • Maintain expertise in AlphaVerify and AlphaCollector functionality, workflows, and industry best practices to effectively support clients.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and create documentation that enhances delivery consistency, operational efficiency, and client success.
  • Identify and generate documentation for best practices in methodology and solution utilization.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 1 year of health care information technology or systems management implementation or consulting working experience
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Decision making skills
  • Flexibility
  • Comfort with ambiguity
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with Netsmart EHR solutions
  • Experience within the Netsmart client industries (clinical, human services, long term care, senior living, etc.)
  • Experience supporting healthcare revenue cycle, patient access, eligibility verification, billing, accounts receivable, collections, or related operational workflows
  • Experience supporting SaaS applications in a client-facing consulting, implementation, customer success, or support capacity

Expectations

  • Potential travel 20% of the time as needed
  • Position may at times require extended or irregular hours outside of traditional office hours to support clients and projects across multiple time zones and any required travel
