Experienced Full-Cycle Sales Closer

Barkley Solar is a residential solar company focused on helping homeowners take control of their energy through custom solar solutions, transparent education, and a customer-first approach.

Our mission is to make solar simple, accessible, and beneficial by guiding homeowners through every step of the process-from initial consultation to installation-while delivering long-term value and energy savings.

We believe in honest communication, high-quality systems, and doing what's right for the customer, not just making a sale.

Position Overview

Barkley Solar is seeking experienced full-cycle solar closers who can generate their own opportunities, run consultations, and close deals from start to finish.

This is not a setter-only role. You will own the entire pipeline-from prospecting and door knocking to closing and supporting the customer through the process.

We are looking for high-performing sales professionals who are confident in the field, comfortable knocking doors, and capable of building trust with homeowners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate your own leads through door-to-door outreach, referrals, and self-generated efforts
  • Conduct in-home solar consultations and energy assessments
  • Educate homeowners on solar benefits, system design, financing, and savings
  • Present customized proposals and close deals
  • Manage the customer relationship from sale through installation
  • Maintain consistent communication with homeowners throughout the process
  • Represent Barkley Solar with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a full-cycle closer (solar preferred)
  • Willingness and ability to door knock and self-generate leads
  • Strong closing ability and in-home sales experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with a high level of accountability
Also Considered
  • Candidates with strong performance in related door-to-door industries such as:
    • Roofing
    • Home improvement
    • Pest control
    • Other commission-based D2D sales

If you can knock, build rapport, and close, we can train solar.

Key Traits for Success
  • Confidence - Comfortable leading conversations and closing deals
  • Work Ethic - Willing to generate your own pipeline
  • Resilience - Able to handle rejection and stay consistent
  • Integrity - Focused on doing what's right for the customer
  • Coachability - Open to learning and improving
Compensation & Opportunity
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • High earning potential based on performance
  • Ongoing training and support
  • Opportunity to grow into leadership roles
Why Join Barkley Solar?

Barkley Solar is built for sales professionals who want ownership, income potential, and a product they can stand behind.

We focus on:

  • Education-based selling - helping homeowners make informed decisions
  • Quality solar solutions designed for long-term savings
  • A full-cycle sales model that gives reps control over their pipeline and earnings

Our team is made up of individuals who are driven, competitive, and committed to delivering real value to customers.

If you're not afraid to knock doors, take ownership of your results, and close deals, Barkley Solar offers a platform to build a high-income career in solar.

If you're an experienced closer who wants:

  • Full control of your pipeline
  • Unlimited earning potential
  • A company that values integrity and performance

Apply now - This is your opportunity to build a real career.
