Job Summary:
Solar Sales / Roofing Project Manager connects with customers and generates sales using the knowledge of Prosolar Systems products and services.
Prosolar Systems is a company serving USVI, Florida and Puerto Rico. We have a passion for solar energy and for how it can dramatically reduce utility bills and provide families with energy independence.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Making cold calls to sales leads or taking calls from prospective customers.
  • Build a relationship with customers by introducing them to solar products.
  • Answer questions about the product and meeting customer needs.
  • Business to consumer outside and virtual sales consulting and full circle project management
  • Properly prepare for appointments by building proposals, presentations, and energy audits.
  • Conduct an effective, powerful, and educational client-specific presentation that results in a positive experience at every appointment
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales appointment and revenue goals
  • Maintain Leads, Opportunities, and all inter-departmental communications using ZOHO CRM.
  • Maintain and immediately update notes on all client appointments using ZOHO CRM
  • Confidently discuss options and close contracts.
  • Provide customer service and generate referral sales
  • Identify prospective customers for potential leads to generate a pipeline.
  • Complete and submit all necessary paperwork for each project
  • Participating in the company events to prospect and generate sales.
  • Participate in company's training and meetings.
  • Network and look for opportunities for engagement to build a client base
  • Represent ProSolar Group's brand
  • Stay educated on the newest solar energy products and technologies and financing options.
  • Site Survey and Take off on roofing projects
  • Coordinate with permit package preparer
  • Provide support to Regional Sales Manager as required for materials, schedule, and cost information.
  • Request Material bids and prepare P.O.'s
  • Monitor job progress and record all events and communications in ZOHO
  • Resolve problems and issues that may arise - including both technical and contractual
  • Maintain a change order status log. Keep Accounts Receivables informed of all pending and approved change orders
  • Provide support to Regional Sales Manager as required for materials, schedule, and cost information.
  • Maintain communication with the client to keep them informed and engaged
  • Maintain communication with Solar Operations to keep them informed
  • Attend Daily Department Team meetings and Weekly Scheduling meetings
  • Schedule Reroofs once the permit is issued
  • Schedule and Attend Final Inspections
  • Notify Solar Operations of completion in order to schedule Solar installation
  • New Projects in ZOHO ( Payroll, Lead Acquisitions billing and payment, Roofing Billing, P.O.'s, and vendor payments, Updating of Solar Software working with Sr. IT Manager and other tasks as they arise.)
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Must be highly motivated and self driven.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Availability of six days a week, including nights and weekends

Education & Experience:
โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent
โ€ข At least 2 years Solar industry related experience
โ€ข Valid driver license
โ€ข Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
Physical Requirements:
โ€ข Prolonged periods of standing and being on feet
โ€ข Must be able to lift up to 15lbs.
