Job description

Your Impact: 

The Regional Manager, Solar O&M will lead and oversee operations and maintenance performance across the Colorado region, driving operational excellence, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for managing regional teams, optimizing service delivery, and strengthening relationships with key customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders. You'll play a critical leadership role in scaling solar service offerings, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, and aligning regional performance with company-wide goals.

Core Responsibilities:

Regional Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead all Solar O&M operations across the Colorado region, ensuring performance, safety, and profitability targets are met
  • Develop and execute regional strategies to grow service offerings and market presence
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to Field Operations Managers and regional teams

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key regional customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to drive retention and expansion opportunities
  • Manage communication including incident reporting, performance reviews, and status meetings
  • Resolve technical and commercial issues proactively

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee multiple projects to ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality execution
  • Monitor KPIs such as response time, repair time, and preventive maintenance completion
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across regional operations
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and safety requirements

Financial & Performance Management

  • Manage regional P&L, including revenue, cost of goods sold, and profitability
  • Monitor accounts receivable and address overdue balances
  • Contribute to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecasting
  • Identify and capture all billable work opportunities

Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Oversee subcontractor relationships, onboarding, and performance
  • Partner with Procurement to evaluate vendors, negotiate pricing, and improve coverage
  • Strengthen contractor network across the region

Sales & Growth Support

  • Identify new business opportunities within existing and new accounts
  • Support sales efforts with pricing, proposals, and contract review
  • Align operational capabilities with market demand and customer needs

Compliance & Site Oversight

  • Conduct periodic site visits to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting standards

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of project management or operations experience in solar, electrical, or industrial environments
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience managing teams or regional operations
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction, and maintenance practices
  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships and drive business growth
  • Experience with contracts, pricing strategies, and operational KPIs
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
