Work Order (O&M) Coordinator - Solar Operations

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable O&M Coordinator to support the scheduling, tracking, and administrative coordination of solar Operations & Maintenance work orders. This role focuses on execution and follow-through, working closely with O&M Specialists, field teams, and customers to ensure service requests are scheduled accurately and completed efficiently.
This position is well-suited for someone looking to grow within solar operations while gaining hands-on experience in work order coordination and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
Work Order Support
  • Assist with creating, updating, and tracking O&M work orders in internal systems.
  • Ensure customer and project information is entered accurately and kept up to date.
  • Monitor work order statuses and flag delays or issues to senior team members.
Scheduling Assistance
  • Support the scheduling of service appointments with customers and field crews.
  • Coordinate calendar updates, confirmations, and reschedules as needed.
  • Help ensure materials, access requirements, and documentation are in place prior to service visits.
Customer Communication
  • Provide basic customer updates regarding appointment times and next steps.
  • Respond to inbound customer questions and route complex issues or escalations appropriately.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-friendly communication style across phone and email.
Operational Coordination
  • Assist O&M Specialists and operations leadership with daily coordination tasks.
  • Help maintain organized records, notes, and documentation for ongoing service work.
  • Support reporting and data cleanup efforts as requested.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with O&M Specialists, field teams, and subcontractors to support smooth service execution.
  • Participate in team meetings and follow established processes and workflows.

Qualifications
Required
  • Experience in an administrative, scheduling, coordination, or customer support role.
