Job description

Expected Length of Internship: 

  • Fall 2026 semester

  • As an internship company, we allow flexibility to enroll in classes while working as an intern, as long as it doesn't interfere with the essential functions of the position.

Education/Experience:

  • Junior/Senior student with previous internship experience 

  • First Solar encourages all interns to register their internship with their university.

Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Experience with a strong marketing analytics mindset and interest in data, AI/LLMs, digital marketing, AI and AI agent creation, and social media platforms.

  • Ability to treat AI output as a first draft to be checked and sharpened, not a finished answer

Basic Internship Scope (Project):

  • Build AI-assisted competitor-analysis workflows that produce a first-pass, human-reviewed read to inform marketing strategy 

  • Build and maintain social and media performance dashboards (e.g., Sprout Social) to analyze campaign effectiveness, web analytics, and engagement trends 

  • Use AI/LLMs to define and document audience personas - customers, communities, policy stakeholders - to support content strategy 

  • Evaluate content performance against those personas and recommend improvements 

  • Measure and document the capacity gained and time saved by the AI workflows you build, so the role proves its own return 

Estimated Salary Range:

  • $19.00-$21.00/hr.
