Job description

We are seeking a Business Development Associate (BDA) to join our Life Sciences & Healthcare team. This role plays a critical part in driving new business growth by identifying, qualifying, and advancing sales opportunities across Clarivate's portfolio of data, analytics, and intelligence solutions. You will work closely with senior sales leaders to support the end-to-end sales process - from initial prospect engagement through deal progression - by engaging decision-makers, uncovering customer needs, and contributing directly to successful outcomes. By collaborating with other commercial teams to maximize revenue opportunities from prospects and existing clients, you will maintain a robust pipeline for future sales by sourcing new prospects as well as qualifying inbound leads for conversion.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar tool) and MS Office Suite
  • Selling Software and Services into the Life Science and/or pharmaceutical sectors

  • Maintain and expand a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within your assigned territory
  • Support active deals by contributing insights, coordinating next steps, and helping drive momentum through the sales cycle
  • Accurately document activities, opportunities, and progress within Salesforce
  • Achieve activity, pipeline, and revenue-influencing targets aligned to quarterly goals

Hours of Work
