Job Summary

Location - Glendale, AZ - Only Local Candidates

Responsible for analyzing the needs of our customers and designs, develops, tests, installs, and i software systems to meet business needs. Configures and customizes both on-premise and Saas Recommends software upgrades to existing systems and presents newly available options that r the needs of the City. Responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of systems and troubleshooting that surface.

Essential Functions

1. Writes high-quality code that satisfies customer needs.

2. Creates systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.

3. Maintains and improves existing codebases and peer reviews code changes.

4. Applies Agile Methodologies to application development.

5. Follows full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

6. Creates fault-tolerant programming and thorough Quality Control processes.

7. Writes test scripts for both existing and developed code to ensure compatibility and stabili1

8. Integrates multiple systems utilizing different communication protocols and gateways. Devi consumes APls as necessary.

9. Deploys and manages systems in both on premise and cloud hosted environments.

10. Enhances applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendati developing, and implementing systems.

11. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standa programming.

12. Plans and implements systems automation as required for better efficiency.

13. Evaluates systems and provides technical direction.

14. Collaborates with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables within organizatic

policies, and procedures.

15. Develops and maintains documentation for supported applications, processes, and develop

16. Complies with project plans and industry standards.

17. Participates in change control process. Completes change requests. Coordinates work with departments and within the Innovation & Technology department.

18. Provided on-call support during non-business hours.

19. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications/Special Requirements/Success Factors

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineerir field and three years of experience in development, design, implementation, and application sup1 three years of software development experience in .NET Framework and other programming Lan!

Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required skills and abilities is qualifying. One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each . education.

Knowledge of:
