Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough dental cleanings to maintain patients' oral health.
  • Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
  • Take and develop digital X-rays, utilizing modern imaging technology for precise diagnostics.
  • Document patient information and treatment plans accurately in Open Dental Software.
  • Assist with patient comfort and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to provide optimal patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Dental Hygienist license in New York State.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
